Adding scent, extracts or additional actives to a shampoo, cleanser or a wash will typically affect viscosity in gels, serums, washes and shampoos. In order to increase the thickness, you need to add a thickener. Being a viscosity modifier and not part of the formulation (like pH adjustment)

Usage: Stir a small amount of this liquid starting at 0.5% and up to 4.0.
